Sales Operations Analyst

The Sales Operations Analyst is a key member of the Operations Team and will report to the Director of Operations. The Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for the efficient and effective support of the sales organization. The Sales Operations Analyst works closely with senior management, as well as internal and external personnel to drive sales productivity, sales forecasting, rebate processing, maintaining price database, sales reporting/analytics, and other sales operations activities in support of the sales organization.

 Essential Functions:

  • Proactively monitors and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales and operations organization.
  • Monitor the sales reporting systems to ensure data is accurate and up-to-date
  • Provide sales reporting and analytics support for senior Sales Leaders and company executives
  • Provides timely delivery of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly sales reporting
  • Create and automate reports, perform data analysis, and provide meaningful insights into business results and operational performance to support day to day sales operations and initiatives for the sales organization.
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests from senior management in a timely manner with an a high level of accuracy
  • Support sales management by preparing data for presentations and reports
  • Works with sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes used within the sales organization.
  • Develop/coordinate market, competitive and win loss analysis as required
  • Maintain and manage pricing database
  • Support Operations team by entering new customers in system and approving credit limits through Euler Hermes.
  • Analyze and process monthly/quarterly customer rebates in an accurate and timely fashion
  • Analyze and report on sales commission of Key Account Managers
  • Develop and present recommendations for improved processes within the sales organization
  • Participate in BU/Division Sales meetings providing sales operations expertise and support

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required preferably Business Administration, Information Systems and/or Finance
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint) with advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with SAP required
  • Experience in sales operations a plus
  • Solid understanding of sales analytics, including reporting on territory and pipeline, forecasting, and data quality metrics
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills combined with a strong business and technical acumen
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills; detail and task oriented
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Effective communications with all levels within an organization
  • Demonstrated strengths in accuracy and attention to detail
