Inside Sales Manager

Abena North America, Inc. (ANA) is seeking an experienced Inside Sales Manager to oversee the inside sales team.  The ideal candidate will possess strong sales and leadership abilities.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Manage and lead a team of Inside Sales Representatives that contact targeted accounts through, but not limited to, phone calls, email, mailings, and seminars to communicate ANA’s unique selling proposition to convert new business and support the ANA’s sales initiatives.
  • Conduct selling efforts as needed, with the primary purpose of training the inside sales team.
  • Facilitate new processes, tools, communications, training and methodologies to ensure sales program's success across teams and departments throughout the company. Serve with other departmental management to facilitate relationships among members of these various departments and locations in order to achieve the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with marketing, support, community management, internal systems, product management and account management to facilitate new programs, messages, campaigns and offerings.
  • Facilitate programs to gather requirements and features from customers and their communities to augment sales, marketing, development, support, product management, and business and technology partnerships, as well as others as needed.
  • Oversee resource planning, reporting, territory alignments, incentive programs and communications for the assigned team.
  • Participate in client interactions to ensure cross-training, customer satisfaction and management involvement regularly.
  • Ensure reporting and communications is frequent and bi-directional.

 

Position Expectations:

  • This position manages all employees of the department and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within that department.
  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and fax machines.
  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
  • This is a full-time position, with days and hours of work being Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Position Requirements:

  • This position occasionally requires travel (approximately one business trip per quarter).
  • Current experience managing a team of inside sales representatives, with previous experience as an inside sales representative.
  • A bachelor's degree in a business or technical discipline.
  • 8+ years of overall business experience.
  • Experience working with a CRM system and the Microsoft Office suite of products
